Filmed in Canada: VIFF 2016 Wrap-up

The 35th Vancouver International Film Festival is over but you can relive the experience of sitting still for many, many hours by listening to Alexander and William. Hear their reactions to a sampling of the movies they saw: Canadian movies, Canadian short films and international movies too. It is a lengthy debrief covering over 20 films (see the list in the Comments section).

We thank the organizers, sponsors and volunteers involved with VIFF for putting on a great festival with stellar content.

Filmed in Canada: VIFF 2016 Check-in

Alexander Cairns and William Lee are attending the 35th Vancouver International Film Festival. It's time for a mid-festival update. Quality Canadian content is plentiful, it seems, plus lots of interesting movies from around the world are on view.

We'll try not to spoil the baseball game if you still have it waiting on your PVR. Speaking of spoilers, we recommend Never Eat AloneLavender and Rat Film. VIFF 2016 runs from September 29 to October 14.
